Co-op Week at Discovery Co-op: October 13–16

What is Co-op Week?

Co-op Week celebrates what makes co-operatives a different kind of business. We're owned by the people we serve, and we tailor what we offer to our members and communities. We also invest in and give back to those communities as part of a circular, sustainable economy. This year's national theme is "Power the Economy." At Discovery Co-op, that means profits go back to members and stay in the local economy.

What we stand on

Seven co-operative principles guide us: voluntary and open membership, democratic member control, member economic participation, autonomy and independence, education, training and information, co-operation among co-operatives, and concern for community.
